Seeking a highly motivated Digital P.R. Whiz
Spotlight is seeking a highly motivated, professional and outgoing intern who is very familiar with social media marketing and digital public relations. A positive winning attitude is a must! Possible duties include conducting research, brainstorming, and implementing online marketing strategies. You will be responsible for generating awareness and excitement about our brand internally and externally. Previous experience working at other marketing or public relations internships is preferred, but not required. Interns should also demonstrate STRONG written and oral communications skills.
Responsibilities:
- Outreaching to our target audiences through various social mediums
- Coordinating social media strategy
- Updating and managing the company Facebook page, Twitter page, e-newsletter and Blog
- Writing white papers
- Proof-reading and editing documents
- Assisting with administrative duties
Requirements:
- Be a current undergrad student in marketing or communication
- Demonstrated knowledge of social media networking
- Knowledge of social networking sites (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube)
- Digital marketing experience
- MS Office, Web, and Adobe Photoshop experience is a plus
- 1-3 years experience in public relations or marketing internship work is accepted
- 15-20 hours per week commitment at our office
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong References and writing samples
